New Jersey's Document Destruction & Data Security Rules

Like many other states, New Jersey has been tightening their regulations on what constitutes "personal information," how businesses should protect this data, and the requirements for notifying consumers of a breach. As the state's privacy laws become increasingly complex, businesses are scrambling to remain compliant—and rightly so. Luckily, ShredSmart can help you avoid penalties and properly dispose of unneeded data you may have on file, whether it's in paper, electronic, or digital format. We'll come to you for on-site document and hard drive shredding, or to pick up your old electronics. We make the entire process simple and secure!
